What makes Twiga Living different?

Twiga Living offers beautifully furnished, well-managed homes designed for working professionals. From stylish co-living in Reading to modern apartments in London, we focus on comfort, community, and simplicity with responsive support and thoughtful design inspired by our Kenyan heritage.

All Twiga Living homes in Reading and London are professionally managed by our Lettings Team. Rebecca, our Lettings Manager, and her team handle viewings, tenant support, maintenance requests, and day-to-day property management ensuring everything runs smoothly from move-in to move-out.

Viewings are arranged through our Lettings Team. Just get in touch to schedule a time that works for you. We also offer virtual viewings for added convenience.

After your viewing, you’ll complete a simple application form and submit supporting documents for reference checks. Once approved, our Lettings Team will guide you through signing the tenancy agreement and preparing for a smooth move-in.

Yes, subject to availability and referencing, we can often arrange quick move-ins. Just let our Lettings Team know your preferred timing and we’ll do our best to make it work.

Yes, we work with corporate clients, relocation agents, and individuals relocating for work. If you’re arranging housing for staff or moving for a new role, our Lettings Team can support you every step of the way.

London FAQs

Who do I pay my rent to?

Rent is paid directly to Aviman Ltd, the company behind Twiga Living.

Rent excludes utility bills, broadband, council tax, and cleaning. Tenants are responsible for arranging and paying for these services directly.

Yes, all Twiga Living apartments are fully furnished to a high standard.

Tenants are responsible for arranging their own broadband service.

Our current minimum tenancy is 6 months, with the option to extend depending on availability and mutual agreement.

Upcoming government legislation will replace fixed-term tenancies with open-ended agreements. We’ll continue to update our processes in line with legal requirements, always keeping things fair, clear, and tenant-friendly.

Some properties are suitable for couples. Please contact our Lettings Team for availability and details.

All of our London apartments are in leasehold buildings where pets are unfortunately not permitted under the terms of the head lease. We appreciate that pets are important, but this policy is outside our control.

All London apartments are strictly non-smoking indoors. This helps maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.

Where permitted by the building, smoking may be allowed in designated outdoor areas such as balconies, please check with the concierge desk before moving in.

Is there a cleaning service?

Tenants are responsible for keeping their apartments clean. Communal cleaning services are not included in London single-let properties.

All maintenance is handled by our in-house team. You can report issues via the tenant portal or by contacting our Lettings Team directly for prompt support.

Our London homes are designed for working professionals who value privacy, independence, and respectful living.

Social events are only hosted in our Reading co-living homes. Our London apartments are self-contained and not part of a co-living model.

Our apartments are in sought-after areas such as Canary Wharf and Limehouse, offering excellent transport links, amenities, and riverside living.

Some buildings offer parking and secure bike storage. Please contact us for availability in your chosen property.

Absolutely, we welcome international tenants and offer virtual viewings and remote application support.

What kind of community can I expect?

Yes, Twiga Living occasionally hosts community meetups and socials for our Reading co-living residents.

To keep our homes clean and comfortable for everyone, pets are not permitted in our Reading co-living properties.

We do review reasonable requests in line with evolving government guidance, feel free to ask before applying.

Smoking is not permitted indoors in any of our Reading properties.

Some homes have designated outdoor areas, please check with us in advance.

Our Reading homes are in well-connected, desirable neighbourhoods, close to town centre amenities and transport links.
